IBM is an official DIAM certified consultant

A promising partnership has been established with IBM, the first DIAM certified consultant, that should bring additional benefits to all project participants. The first IBM DIAM workshop took place in London at IBM South Bank on 30 June 2017. Project expert Prof. Donoso gave presentations on different DIAM key focus areas, including interoperability, workflows, deep learning, structured reporting, etc. IBM plans many actions for spreading the information about DIAM in the UK and involving new healthcare organisations in the project.

DIAM starts country-specific strategy

The DIAM experts group has started approaching the national radiology societies of identified focus countries (Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands and UK) in order to seek their support and involvement in disseminating the model as a vendor-neutral high-quality tool for assessing IT systems in radiology departments. The DIAM will be represented at major radiological events in focus countries and special introduction webinars will be offered to anyone interested in the project.

November/December 2016 – Focus activity in the Netherlands

A “DIAM masterclass – Digital Imaging Adoption Model” event will take place on December 12, 2016 at the Congrescentrum Papendal te Arnhem. HIMSS Analytics will present the DIAM model and some first results to the Dutch imaging IT community.

We would invite our Dutch ESR members to liaise with their PACS administrators and IT departments and to participate in this data collection exercise, by completing the DIAM questionnaire below (one response per institution).
